Rev. Sean Harbaugh was elected NWRD in the 2015 ADF elections for the term from May 1, 2015 to April 30, 2017. His bio is as follows:
I have been a member of ADF for 11 years. I have served as Northwest Regional Druid from 2007-2008, and again from 2010 to 2012. I was also Deputy RD in 2009. During my tenure we saw the growth of our region go from a little under 100 to doubling in size. I've also acted as a Protogrove mentor for five successful Groves-- four of which are in our region. My Grove experience includes co-founding the Sierra Madrone Grove, and serving as Senior Druid for eight of her 10 years. I am heavily involved in promoting regional activities such as Pantheacon and Eight Winds.
I currently serve on the ADF Mother Grove, the Grove Organizing Committee, the Risk Management Subcommittee, Coordinator of the Sacred Feast SIG. I also serve as ADF's social media manager. I completed my Dedicant Program in 2007, completed the Generalist Study Program, and I am an ordained ADF Priest. I have co-written two handbooks for ADF-- the Festival Organizers Handbook and the ADF Leadership Handbook. I am also on the team putting together the new ADF Leadership Study Program.
Outside of ADF I am in management overseeing an operation with over 30 employees. I have taken several leadership courses/intensives including Foundations of Leadership and Essentials of Supervising Screening Operations. I'm also a graduate of my employer's Mid-Level Leadership Development Program. Prior to my current job, I worked as a manager in the private sector for 10 years. I also own and operate my own catering business with my wife, Lindsay.
Privately, we have three children at home, and I have lived in Sacramento all of my 46 years. My hobbies include writing, studying Irish myth, and cooking BBQ.
