Greetings, dear Northwest ADFers!
We skipped the Blog for Winter Solstice (thanks to Jonathan from Columbia PG for his faithful submission of Columbia's ritual report anyway, which is included in this Blog), so here's the blockbuster Imbolc/PantheaCon edition!
With the ADF election next month, this may be my last Blog as your NWRD, so I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you for your generous contributions to this edition! It really is the beefiest Blog yet; you folks are the best! It's been a pleasure to serve you, and my prayer is that the next RD chosen by the folks of the Northwest will serve the Region and the Kindred well, and help the Region find a new sense of peace and community.
We have a new official group here in the Northwest as of February 2015; please join me in congratulating Grove Organizer Jessamina, and welcoming Red Cedar Protogrove, ADF to the Portland Metro area, and the Region!
We did a Regional water working during the opening ritual on Friday in the ADF suite at PantheaCon and asked Manannan mac Lir to support the unity of the Region; we added waters to those at the unity rite we did for the Con on Monday, and both rites were wonderful. The Regional waters are being sent to all of the groups in the Region (as I'm able to find small mailable water containers, that is) so that Manannan can continue to uphold our community as we worship with the same waters; thank you to everyone who brought waters to share, and attended our rites during PCon!
All right, enough of my rambling; on to the good stuff!
